Description from the seller

Fascinating and powerful vintage manifesto dedicated to the historic and famous Circus Knie, centered on the iconic and daring number of the renowned tamer Eveline de Kok and her seven panthers. The work, originally conceived in the 1940s by artist Anton Trieb and here presented in a beautiful later edition (estimated around the 1970s), boasts an extraordinary scenographic impact. At the center of the composition, a magnificent leopard advances in the foreground, capturing the viewer's gaze, flanked by a black panther that emerges mysteriously from the shadows. The background, characterized by imposing blocks of stone, amplifies the dramatic tension and the majesty of the felines. At the bottom, the bilingual German/French text reads: “Eine Frau meistert 7 Panther / Une femme maîtrise 7 panthères,” underscoring the exceptionalism and elegance of this historic show.
