Beautiful Beluchistan Fluorite, with a very rich crystallization formed by numerous cubic crystals overlapped and stepped growth. In natural light the sample shows gray-brown and beige tones, with lighter and translucent areas and widespread oxidation.
The structure is particularly interesting for the variety of surfaces: some areas display larger and well-defined crystals, others a finer and more compact crystallization.
Between the two faces of the specimen there also opens an elongated cavity, whose inner walls are coated with a dense fine crystallization, clearly visible in the photographs.
The Fluorite shows fluorescence under UV lamp. The photographs were taken with the room’s main light also on: for this reason the camera records mainly the areas where the fluorescent response is most intense, highlighted in violet-blue in the images.
