**French harpsichord, Vaudry copy – handcrafted construction, 1986**

Elegant French harpsichord, **copy of a Vaudry instrument**, entirely handmade in 1986 by a German harpsichord maker active at the time in Italy.

The instrument is of **handcrafted construction and not kit-built**, made piece by piece according to traditional criteria.

* Case and tail free of deformations

The harpsichord presents itself in **excellent preservation condition**. The remarkable tuning stability testifies to the quality of construction and materials used.

The instrument was purchased in 2012 by **Maestro Ettore del Romano of the L’Aquila Conservatory**, who also used it for concert activities. Video material related to the instrument is available.

The current owner is a university professor who also professionally deals with **restoration, study and attribution of keyboard instruments with plucked strings** and has collaborated with **Grant O’Brien** in the restoration of historic instruments.
