Born in 1987 in the north of France, Antoine Stevens discovers graffiti during his adolescence before developing a studio painting practice from 2005. His universe sits at the crossroads of street art and contemporary figurative portraiture. His work is immediately recognizable by the fusion between a realistic mastery of the face and a free gestural style inspired by urban art, mixing drips, material layering and graphic interventions.
