Christian Dior - Coat - Vintage

A black Dior wool coat from the Gianfranco Ferré era, featuring a double-breasted design with beadwork at the hem. From Dior's ready-to-wear collection.

The coat has a cropped cut, fastens with three pairs of covered buttons, has a notched collar, and straight, gathered sleeves with high cuffs, each fastened with four covered buttons. All seams, including the Viennese seams, are zigzag stitched. The back waist is defined by buttons that secure two pleats in the skirt, with a high vent between them. The hem is decorated with a wide zigzag band featuring eight double rosettes (two overlapping) of rhinestones covered in black fur.
