Description from the seller

"Montaña" is an original work where the human figure is built as a single volume from the relationship between line, color, and pictorial matter. The bodies intertwine to form a compact structure that concentrates the visual weight of the composition.

The piece belongs to the series "Anatomy of the Gesture," a collection of paintings that investigates the representation of the human figure through a gestural and contemporary language.

The brushstroke remains free and visible, alternating zones of greater density with transparencies and open lines that evoke drawing without abandoning the language of painting. The material preserves the gesture’s imprint, allowing the execution process to become part of the image.
The palette, dominated by blues, greens, and yellows, moves away from naturalistic representation to build volume through chromatic relationships. The forms are simplified to achieve an almost sculptural presence, where the balance between mass, light, and void organizes the entire composition.

Brief Bio: Since I was small I have felt an inclination toward creation in all its forms. From my earliest crafts to painting, where I found my main language of expression. In this way I discovered a universe full of possibilities to convey my ideas, concerns, and emotions.
I am particularly interested in creating compositions that offer the viewer a point of view from which they can identify. Whether through discomfort, serenity, or contemplation, my intention is to generate a space for reflection and questioning. Pintorially, I am drawn to vibrant colors, bold saturations, and fresh chromatic ranges.
I find a great source of inspiration in observing our social and natural surroundings. I often like to imagine that I observe the planet from very far away; that symbolic distance allows me to rethink reality from another perspective. I also explore the universe of the feminine, addressing its multiple dimensions from a personal, sensitive, and introspective viewpoint.
