Elegant German biscuit porcelain gallant figure, dating from approximately 1920, finely modelled and hand-painted in delicate pastel colours. The figure depicts a refined young gentleman in an 18th-century-inspired costume, seated among elaborate Rococo-style ornamental elements and scrollwork.
The piece displays finely sculpted details, including the facial features, clothing, hat, jewellery and decorative elements of the base. The subtle pink, green, cream and brown tones enhance the elegant antique appearance of the composition.
