Description from the seller
Artist: Paola Vignola, 1963, Italian-born, has lived in Spain since childhood. She is a multidisciplinary artist, furniture restorer, decorator, and fashion stylist, in addition to painting. Her work is characterized by bold use of color and textures with very pronounced reliefs, as if three-dimensional. She has exhibitions in galleries and fairs in Spain, Denmark, Luxembourg, and Switzerland. She has sold works, among others, in the USA and Germany. She works a lot with wood rather than canvas, and her works do not require a frame; they usually come with one already incorporated and are ready to hang. All carry a registered certificate of authenticity. Her work can be seen on her website paolavignola.com. This particular piece, 120x60x2 cm, on wood, is a work of deep thought, inspired by the Dada movement. Brought into contemporary art with juxtaposed colors. On an abstract, bold, and textured background, it transitions from the deep blue at the top, through emerald, to a vibrant meadow green at the bottom, from which the letters "ZZ" protrude, the symbol of dream. Undoubtedly a playful piece that invites reflection.
