My name is Sandra Glaser and I live in Trofaiach in beautiful Styria, where I have created a lovingly furnished studio – a place where I can fully dive into my colors, shapes, and thoughts.
Since childhood I have been fascinated by the world of art. This enthusiasm has never let me go – it still accompanies me today and continually inspires me anew. On travels and while visiting numerous exhibitions across Europe I could gather many artistic impressions that shaped my view of painting.
My preferred form of expression is abstract acrylic painting on canvas. In my work I deal especially with feelings, inner states, landscapes, and fantasy worlds. It is about making visible what cannot be said – emotions, moods and in-between spaces that often can only be expressed in color and movement.
I paint out of passion. For me, it is an intuitive process where authenticity and depth are central. Each work is a piece of myself – an impulse, a memory, a look inward and outward at the same time.
For a painting measuring 160 x 130 cm you need a stretcher of size 150 x 120 cm and a thickness of 2-4 cm.
You can then either simply stretch the canvas yourself or have a craftsman or gallery owner stretch it for you.
This is a handmade original, which has been signed by the artist on the back and dated.
High-quality and lightfast acrylic paints were used on a multiple white-primed gallery canvas.
A varnish was also applied to protect the work.
