Bates - Caprilli - Saddle - 1990

Here is a classic of riding reserved for amazons and riders who respect equestrian traditions: the saddle, in this case sized 17.5 inches (quarter measurements are shown in the photos), which Bates Australia has dedicated, from the 1990s onward, to Federico Caprilli, the officer regarded as the father of the so-called "natural horsemanship." The piece is currently in overall good condition. It should be noted, however, that the interior lining of the cushions, as clearly shown by the fifth-from-last and fourth-from-last photo in close-up, needs to be subjected to proper treatment. Because it bears unmistakable signs of wear and time, which are not visible from the outside and which do not affect the saddle’s functionality and versatility, suitable also for trail riding. A "minimalist" price for a item of such prestige.
