AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Here we have an extremely wonderful oil on canvas by re known Dutch artist Jack Hamel 1890-1951. The artwork depicts a forest snow cover passage as the sunsets on another day. This most beautiful piece has superb quality as the rays from the sun seem to shimmer and reflect off the icy cold snow and glow through the dense forest. The painting is signed lower left Jack Hamel. On the verso are written two addresses which may have something to do with the artwork, Hilversum being a town in northern Netherlands. Often exhibited and his work sold well. Works include the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam and Museum Arnhem. His works have sold in all the top prestigious Auction houses realising over four figure sums. A brilliant antique piece which would grace any wall in your home.
