A beautiful Japanese colour woodblock print depicting Wisteria (Fuji) by Kawarazaki Shodo (1889–1973).
Kawarazaki Shodo was a Kyoto-born artist and designer particularly known for his elegant botanical compositions. His flower designs were published by Unsodo, one of Japan's established woodblock-print publishers.
This work depicts cascading wisteria flowers in shades of deep purple, violet and lavender, surrounded by delicate green foliage. The refined composition and subtle colour gradation are characteristic of Kawarazaki Shodo's botanical woodblock prints.
The print corresponds to F113 “Wisteria (Fuji)”, published by Unsodo (芸艸堂). The margin bears the publisher, carver and printer markings.

The official Unsodo catalogue lists F113 “Wisteria” as a Kawarazaki Shodo flower woodblock print and states that the current edition is produced using the original blocks from the first edition of the series.
