Nicolas RIN is an expressionist painter, born in 1919 in Tlemcen (Algeria). He studied at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts. He has notably worked with Chagall. RIN sees himself as an heir to Fauvism, with all that implies—light, essential and radiant colors, and emotion nestled within his works.
