The works are shipped from the artist based in the United States to our logistics platform in France, which handles import and customs clearance, before being individually returned to our collectors without constraint. The transport cost includes all fees from the United States to your home.

Karl Lagasse, a renowned artist, rose to prominence in 2009 with his One Dollar sculptures, ranking that same year among the ten best sculptors under 30 according to Artprice. In 2012, the New York publication Farameh named him as one of the fifty best contemporary artists, inspired by traditional American icons, in its work FOR WHICH IT STANDS: Americana in Contemporary Art. More recently, in 2016, at the Art Paris Art Fair, the President of the French Republic warmly congratulated Karl on his impressive 2-meter bronze sculpture One Dollar, displayed at the Grand Palais.

Karl’s artistic journey began at age 7 with collages, prompted by his meeting with sculptor César Baldaccini. He then turned to tagging and graffiti in the Paris metro while remaining passionate about collages. Artist Yvaral Vasarely encouraged him to fuse his tags with his collages. In 2003, Karl prepared his first exhibition in Paris, which led to his first solo show in 2006 at the Isy Brachot gallery in Brussels. In 2008, he returned to Paris with an exhibition combining paintings, sculptures, and video elements at the Espace Pierre Cardin.

Karl particularly enjoys unveiling his works at international exhibitions. In 2011, he was represented by Bel Air Fine Art at the Art Monaco fair with his Cryptogram One. The following year, he presented his works One Dollar on the theme "In God We Trust" at the Artco France gallery. His solo exhibition of 2016 at the Atrium Gallery in Marbella, Spain, was inaugurated by the mayor, who praised his works in front of the international press.

2026: - Completion of the work One Dollar Green Bronze 8 meters, 7 tons. The world's largest One Dollar sculpture created by the artist.

2025: - Installation of the monumental work Reflection of the Sun. Installed near the brand-new Pavillon des Bains, on Promenade Michel d’Ornano, inaugurated by Mayor Philippe Augier on September 8.

2024: - Art Miami - Group exhibitions Galerie Nicolas Auvray New York. On the occasion, a bronze cryptogram of 1.80 m and a 2-meter One Dollar were exhibited during the event.
- 50th anniversary of the Deauville American Film Festival; the artist created 18 bronze trophies as well as a 2-meter sculpture to be installed at the CID. The artists interviewed about the artist and who received the trophy include: Michael Douglas, Daisy Ridley, Natalie Portman, Michelle Williams, Mikey Madison...

2023: - Aspen Saint Regis: Installation of the 2-meter One Dollar in front of the St Regis. The Aspen Times covered the event in a dedicated article.

2022: - New York: Times Square NY City, projection on Nasdaq’s screen of the work « A One Dollar in the Cyberspace City ».

2017: - Karl Lagasse succeeds the prestigious Cartier House in creating the Deauville American Film Festival trophies.

2016: - Art Fair Paris at the Grand Palais
- A two-meter-high, fully bronze One Dollar was exhibited at the Art Paris fair.
- The French president visited the exhibition and personally congratulated the artist for his work.
- First in Spain at the Atrium Gallery in Marbella, solo exhibition with new collections in the presence of international press and the mayor of the city, Jose Bernal Gutierrez. Special performance by his wife, opera singer Cherise Lagasse, who performed pieces from her repertoire.

2015: - Second collaboration with Maserati, creating a monumental installation titled “A Piece of Heaven on Earth.” This work comprises a Maserati wrapped in white plastic film and a sculpture of Jesus Christ. Around the car, several sculptures representing dollar bills are laid on the ground, symbolizing the repayment of humanity’s greatest debt.

2014: - Maserati unveiled worldwide the Maserati Ghibli reimagined by artist Karl Lagasse for the brand’s 100th anniversary.

2012: - Karl gifted the city of Deauville a bronze Crytogram One sculpture, permanently at the city entrance.
- For the 65th Cannes Film Festival anniversary, Karl created a sculpture “Building” composed of a collage of photos tracing the festival’s highlights.
