About the work
Woman Bird explores transformation, freedom, and the nature of identity. The central figure arises from a fragmented visual language, where a woman and a bird merge into a single presence: human, animal, and symbolic at the same time.
Built through irregular geometric planes, marked black lines and an intense combination of colors, the composition does not aim to represent a literal figure, but to create a being open to interpretation. The beak, the gaze, and the shapes evoking feathers integrate with the female body in a game of fragments that suggests movement and metamorphosis.
The contrasts between deep blues, bright yellows, reds, greens and blacks bring energy and visual tension, while the different textures enrich the surface and reinforce the expressive character of the work.
Woman Bird speaks of the capacity to transform, to inhabit different identities, and above all, to find in that mixture a personal form of freedom.
Additional information
The work ships on unstretched canvas, carefully rolled and securely protected in a rigid tube to ensure proper transport.
