Rare Swiss vintage watch Rectory Chronometer Le Locle from the 1930s.
Watch with an 18k gold case with a double hinged back, rear case for the movement and a front glass/dial that opens.
Dial in white enamel/porcelain, in excellent cosmetic condition for its age, with black Arabic numerals and a multi-colored external tachymetric scale (Kilomètres à l'heure) with blue and red details. Two subsidiary dials (at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock).
Single-push chronograph watch, with manual-wind movement, caliber Landeron Hahn 15.5", produced by the Swiss manufactory Charles Hahn & Cie in Le Landeron in the 1920s and 1930s and also fitted by Eberhard on its watches. Complete, clean mechanism and its vintage components (including the column wheel) are intact, currently not functioning and needing service.
A hard-to-find watch, of high collecting interest and notable commercial value.
