Refined and interesting lot consisting of 2 antique iron forged/forged period locks with brass and bronze finishes, complete with their original and functioning keys.
The lot includes:
1. Main chest lock (with long key):
Made of sturdy iron with front profile/moulding in brass/bronze.
Equipped with a deadbolt, a bolt and a manual unlocking lever.
Complete with its imposing original forged-iron key finely worked on the blade.
Internal mechanism visible at the back with period components.
Weight: 1,500 g (1.5 kg)
1. Flush-fit/inlay lock:
Solid box-iron structure with a large rectangular bolt.
Circular brass throat worked with ring elements around the keyhole.
Complete with its own dedicated antique key.
