Listed temple length: 135 mm. Additional markings visible are documented in the photographs.

Vintage fronted frame from before 2000, never worn, sourced from a corporate retirement at an optical shop that ceased activity. Equipped with new sunglasses lenses, CE marked. They are in excellent condition, with minimal superficial signs of storage. The photographs form an integral part of the description.

AUTHENTICITY, CONDITION AND DOCUMENTATION

Condition and authenticity checks are central to our activity. Jewelry in gold and silver, silverware, watches, signed clothing and accessories are examined according to the characteristics of the individual item and the available documentation.

Any certificates or expert reports are provided when expressly indicated in the description or can be requested before the offer, agreeing on availability, content and any costs. The Catawiki expert review is separate from our expert appraisal and does not replace an individual certificate.

Description and photographs document the proposed item, its accessories and declared conditions. For used or vintage items, signs of time and use are assessed with reference to the nature, era and condition of the item. The photographs complement the description without limiting responsibility for inaccurate characteristics or undisclosed defects.

Only accessories and documents expressly indicated are included. The brands mentioned belong to their respective owners; mentioning them identifies the objects and does not imply affiliation or authorization by the maison.

PREPARATION, SHIPMENT AND DELIVERY

Each item is checked, cleaned or sanitized with methods compatible with the materials and its preservation, then carefully packed.

Shipping is tracked and insured according to the service conditions used. Items may be in different warehouses: expect approximately 7–10 days for delivery, unless otherwise stated in the order, for special destinations or customs times. Shipping will occur within the terms provided by Catawiki and communicated for the order; the estimated delivery time does not constitute an extension of the shipping deadline.

Upon receipt, check the packaging. In case of dents, cuts, openings or breakages, ask the courier to note a specific reservation, when possible. We recommend photographing the package before and after opening and keeping packaging, protective materials, and the label to facilitate any insurance checks.

The absence of a reservation, photos or packaging does not automatically determine loss of the consumer’s non-derogable rights. In consumer sales, the risk of transport is governed by article 63 of the Consumer Code.

ASSISTANCE AND REPORTS

For any clarification or issue, contact us via the order messaging on Catawiki, indicating the lot number and describing what was found.

In case of damage, item not as described or missing content, promptly report the issue also to Catawiki support, preferably immediately and in any case within 3 days as provided by the platform procedure, so as to enable claiming management and possible payment suspension.

This operating term does not imply waiving the right of withdrawal or the legal guarantee under applicable terms.

CONSUMER WITHDRAWAL

When the buyer acts as a consumer and the legal requirements are met, they may exercise the right of withdrawal without motive within 14 days of receiving the item, pursuant to articles 52 et seq. of Legislative Decree 206/2005, subject to exceptions provided by law.

The decision must be communicated by an explicit declaration to the seller, also using the Catawiki procedure. The item must be reshipped within 14 days of the withdrawal notification.

For simple reconsideration, the direct cost of return is borne by the buyer, unless otherwise agreed. Amounts legally due, including standard initial delivery charges, will be reimbursed; higher costs for a more expensive delivery chosen by the buyer are not due.

Refund is made without undue delay and within the legal terms, with the possibility of withholding it until receipt of the item or proof of return, according to the law. Amounts collected directly by Catawiki are managed through the platform according to their respective competences, without overriding non-derogable rights.

The buyer is responsible for any decrease in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to verify nature, characteristics and functioning of the item, within legal limits.

LEGAL GUARANTEE AND DEFECTS OF CONFORMITY

In consumer sales, the legal conformity warranty provided by articles 128 et seq. of the Consumer Code applies, even for used goods, taking into account prior use and the contracted features.

The ordinary duration of liability is two years from delivery. For used goods, any reduction, however not less than one year, applies only if validly agreed and permitted by applicable law.

In case of a conformity defect, the consumer is entitled to remedies provided by law: repair or replacement, where feasible, or price reduction or contract termination when the conditions apply.

Our commercial preference is to resolve valid disputes by returning the item and providing a full refund where appropriate, rather than negotiating informal discounts. This preference does not exclude mandatory remedies, including price reduction.

If the return results from a defect attributable to the seller, the necessary costs are borne by us within the legal terms. Costs for other cancellation scenarios are determined by the cause of cancellation and applicable provisions.

RETURNS, REPAIRS AND INTEGRITY OF THE ITEM

Before carrying out repairs, restorations, adjustments or interventions via third parties, contact us to allow problem verification and agree on the solution. Unauthorised interventions may alter the original state, compromise assessments and affect liability for damages or defects caused by them.

Automatic refunds for interventions commissioned independently to third parties are not provided. The buyer’s non-derogable rights remain: an unauthorised intervention does not by itself imply loss of protection for defects independent of the intervention.

The item returned must include the accessories and documents received and be protected with appropriate packaging. Please attach the order reference and, if available, a copy of the proof of purchase. The original receipt is not the only permissible means to prove purchase.

EXTRA-EU SHIPMENTS AND CUSTOMS REQUIREMENTS

For destinations outside the European Union, including the United Kingdom, Switzerland, China, Taiwan, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates, duties, taxes and customs clearance fees may apply, depending on the destination and order conditions. Amounts already collected by the platform should not be considered automatically due a second time.

If necessary, tax or identifying data may be requested for customs clearance. A passport number will be requested only if truly required under applicable rules or the carrier’s or competent authority’s documented instructions.

We invite buyers to check in advance for any import restrictions. For goods subject to specific regimes, including CITES or cultural property rules, shipping remains subject to legal export/import possibilities and the required documents.

IDENTITY VERIFICATION AND DATA PROTECTION

In remote sales of precious items subject to identification obligations, a valid identity document is required and remote identification is performed according to the methods provided by applicable regulations.

If essential information is missing to comply with a legal obligation, the transaction cannot be completed until regularized. Any cancellation and refund will be managed with Catawiki in accordance with applicable regulations and conditions, without automatic disclaimer of responsibility.

Personal data will be processed for contractual, fiscal, customs purposes and legal obligations, in compliance with EU Regulation 2016/679 and Legislative Decree 196/2003. Only necessary data will be requested, with information on purposes, methods, and retention periods.
