The Galleria d'Arte Cattelani was an exhibition space tied to the figure of the collector and patron from Modena, Carlo Cattelani (1931-1999), located in Baggiovara, in the province of Modena. The founder: Carlo Cattelani, a butcher by profession but driven by a great passion for art and deep spirituality, was a pioneer in collecting and in discovering great contemporary talents, often traveling to the United States and Europe to make direct contact with artists.
The gallery's activity: In the 1980s and 1990s, the Baggiovara space hosted significant exhibitions (such as the one dedicated to Hermann Nitsch in 1993), becoming a reference point for contemporary art and for dialogue between spirituality, sacred and artistic research.
