Description from the seller
EKO-BANJO-Mandolino or EKO 8-STRING - 70s
Made in Italy Recanati
The Eko 8-string banjo, known as Banjo-Mandolino or Eko 8 (Art. 1603), is a vintage hybrid instrument produced in Italy during the 1970s and 1980s.
It is tuned and played like a mandolin (double strings in pairs in fourths G-D-A-E), but it offers the resonant body, the metallic timbre and the percussive attack typical of the banjo.
The instrument is perfectly functional and in excellent condition.
Perfectly clean and working.
Insured shipping from Italy.
