Elegant vintage French crystal decanter by Baccarat, bearing the circular acid-etched Baccarat France mark beneath the base.
The decanter is distinguished by its beautifully balanced architectural form, combining a generously proportioned body with softly sloping shoulders, an elongated neck and a substantial geometric base. Broad vertical facets around the lower body create a refined play of light while emphasising the exceptional clarity, weight and brilliance of the Baccarat crystal.
The neck is decorated with elegant elongated fluting and finished with a pronounced circular collar. The original stopper presents a particularly striking sculptural design, with a tall faceted stem surmounted by a broad, diamond-shaped geometric finial. Its sharply polished surfaces capture and refract the light beautifully.
