Description from the seller
A vintage bottle of Tomintoul-Glenlivet Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky, 12 Years Old, 75cl, 43% vol., distilled and bottled in Scotland by Whyte & Mackay Distillers Ltd., Glasgow.
This is a Portuguese import bottling, brought in by Empresa das Águas A.M. Castelo de Vide, S.A.R.L. The bottle carries the Portuguese "Bebida Estrangeira" (foreign beverage) fiscal duty stamp issued by the Administração-Geral do Açúcar e do Álcool (A.G.A.) under Decreto-Lei n.º 482/80 — placing this bottling in the early-to-mid 1980s.
The bottle is still sealed, with the original capsule seal unbroken ("Break Seal Here" intact), and comes with its original cardboard presentation box featuring the classic gold barley-ear motif. Fill level is consistent with a never-opened bottle.
Age-appropriate wear consistent with a bottle of this period: light wear to the box (corners and top edge), minor handling marks to the labels, no damage affecting the integrity of the bottle or seal.
An attractive piece for collectors of vintage Scotch whisky and Portuguese import memorabilia from the era.
