Antique laton brush set – 1920s – richly decorated relief – wall holder

A particularly decorative laton brush set from around 1920–1930, executed in the characteristic gold-colored appearance of laton. A beautiful and now harder-to-find household item from the interwar period, where functionality and decoration meet harmoniously.

The set consists of a long wall holder with two matching clothing brushes. Both the brushes and the holder are richly adorned with pressed and chased relief decorations featuring flowers, leaves, and graceful scrolls.

The most striking part is the illustration at the top of the holder: a figure in historical attire with a background of a cityscape or castle view. This gives the set not only a practical origin but also a pronounced decorative character.

The two brushes differ in size and hang from the holder with metal rings. The original brush hairs are still present. A wonderful object to display on the wall in a classic, eclectic, or Art Deco interior.

Condition:
Good authentic vintage condition with normal use and aging signs. Locally there is patina, discoloration and wear appropriate for an object of about a hundred years old.
