No matter how precise and systematic the results may appear, every line is created entirely by hand. No ruler, no templates, no exact repetitions. What seems like a planned structure is, in truth, the result of intuitive gestures. Exactly in this tension lies the core of the series, rooted in the Japanese concept of Wabi-Sabi: the realization that beauty lies in imperfection—and that perfection arises not despite, but precisely because of this imperfection. Each work follows the same method, and yet no two strokes or no two works are alike. Like a fingerprint, every painting carries its own rhythm, its own character.

AVENZANO is a professional painter. He lives and works in his studio in Germany. Influenced by the elegance of Italian design, the rawness of Brazilian brutalism, and the clarity of contemporary minimalism, his works are characterized by strong graphic elements and a natural, earthy color palette. His practice is defined as much by what he brings to the canvas as by what he leaves out. Central to his work is the aesthetic concept of Wabi-Sabi: the belief that beauty lies not in perfection, but in imperfection, irregularity, and authenticity.
