Crafted from Roagna's largest, monopole, 4.8- hectare parcel in Castiglione Falletto, this bottling uses exclusively the estate's oldest vines (originally planted in 1937).

Tasting Notes: Powerful, deep, and classically austere in its youth. Opens to complex notes of wild berries, black licorice, balsam, crushed rocks, and hints of dried herbs. Silken yet deeply structured, with fine-grained tannins that saturate the palate and demand extended aging. Viticulture & Vinification: Organic farming using the massale selection system. Spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts in large, neutral wood casks followed by a massive 70-to-90 day submerged cap maceration.
