Rare group of four antique medical plates depicting instruments, surgical techniques, traumatology, and bandaging systems.

The plates can be traced to the work:
Hippocratis Coi et Galeni Pergameni Archiatron – Tomus XII, Continens quae ad chirurgiam spectant, curated by Renatus Chartier and published in Paris in 1679 by André Pralard.
Tomus XII is documented in international bibliographic catalogs and comprised 10 engraved plates dedicated to surgery, bandaging, and traumatology.

The four plates are sold together, already mounted in a frame.

Excellent as decorative elements for a study, library, medical office, interior design environment, or for collectors of antique graphics and the history of medicine.
