Sonia Anton is a Romanian-Australian contemporary artist whose work is influenced by a life lived across different countries and cultures. Having grown up surrounded by art in her mother’s atelier in Antibes, France, creativity has remained a constant throughout her life.
After living and travelling extensively throughout Europe, Australia, Mexico and beyond, Sonia is now based in the Romanian countryside, where she continues to develop her colourful and expressive visual language.
Her work explores emotion, movement, human expression and the relationship between colour and form. Sonia Anton’s paintings are held in private collections throughout Europe, including Romania, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal and the Netherlands.
