However, the artist intervenes directly on this institutional image by adding an explosion of colors, notably red, green, and yellow, as well as splash and overlay effects.

The dollar thus becomes much more than a simple representation of money. It symbolizes economic power, success, ambition, but also the fascination with money in contemporary society.
