Binding: Hardback / Publisher's original black cloth binding.

Dust Jacket: In fragile, heavily weathered condition. Shows significant age-related wear, including prominent creasing, rubbing, small tears, and substantial paper loss to the lower right corner of the front panel and across the spine area.

Binding & Exterior: The original black cloth boards show some aging and rubbing, particularly to the spine where the gilt title has softened. Mild shelf wear and light corner bumping present.

Interior & Hinges: The text block remains square and firmly attached to the binding. Front and rear inner hinges are intact with no splitting. Internal pages are generally clean with uniform, natural age-toning.

Provenance/Markings: Features a neat contemporary ink signature from a previous owner ("Harry E. Prober") on the front free endpaper. No other library stamps, bookplates, or notations are present.
