B. Morah Bosque Ingrávido 151 XL (No Reserve) is an original acrylic on cotton canvas, 100 x 75 cm, hand‑signed, created in 2026, a surreal landscape with levitating trees inspired by Magritte, sold directly from the artist, unframed and shipped rolled.
Description from the seller
INGRAVID FOREST 151 is part of a series inspired by Magritte and contemporary surrealism.
This work is part of a series that sublimates the natural and the impossible in a single vision. In “Ingravíd Forest,” the trunks float without roots, stripped of the gravity that ties them to the ground. The landscape becomes the stage for the unlikely: a forest that is not sustained by the laws of physics, but by the rules of imagination.
The reference to Magritte is not accidental: like him, the artist invites us to contemplate a world where the ordinary becomes strange, and the impossible, evident. The trees suspended in the air compel us to rethink the concept of what is organic and stable, while the chromatic play — with electric blues, incandescent reds and deep shadows — intensifies the dreamy atmosphere.
This series poses essential questions: What happens when we take the weight off nature? Can weightlessness reveal another dimension of the landscape, one more emotional than physical? “Ingravíd Forest” is as much a metaphor as a provocation, a visual liberation act that defies logic to reveal a new poetic space.
“Ingravíd Forest” by itself evokes a powerful image: floating trees that challenge not only physics, but also our perception of what a forest should be.
