Elegant large covered service dish in silvered metal, of English manufacture, originating from Sheffield. The dish features a beautiful rectangular shape with rounded corners, with a rich decoration of twisted gadroons all around the rim.
The lid, domed in shape, is adorned with a substantial central knop also decorated with gadroons. The whole has a striking presence on a table and can be used to serve various hot or cold dishes.
A refined piece of English silverware, both decorative and functional.
Condition:
Good vintage overall condition, with natural patina and signs of use corresponding to age.
