Icon - three angels - Metal

Decorative relief sculpture on gilded metal mounted on a wooden board, created by the Croatian-Lebanese artist Cici Tommaseo Sursock (1923-2015).
The work depicts in a modern and stylized key the famous Trinità dell'Antico Testamento (I Tre Angeli), inspired by the classical Byzantine iconography of Andrei Rublev.
Details and authenticity elements:
Signed and dated on the front lower left: CICI 1994.
On the back is the artist's original business card with the addresses of his studios in Beirut (Lebanon) and Split (Croatia).
Also present is the cartouche with the title of the work (Tri Anđela / Three Angels).
