An iconic and massive crystal-clear glass 'Polar' candle holder/sculpture, designed in 1974 by the legendary master glass artist Göran Wärff for Kosta Boda (Sweden).
This is the highly sought-after, large 20 cm (200 mm) version in the elegant white variant.
Wärff drew inspiration from the rugged Scandinavian nature, specifically from the interplay between light and frozen ice.
The design captures the flowing motion of gently lapping water frozen in time. When a tealight burns inside, the jagged, ice-like crystal structure creates an awe-inspiring and vibrant refraction of light.
