Cyril Keller - Geburt Einer Galaxie XXL

My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978, in Saarland.

My artistic journey began in the early 1990s when I discovered graffiti art for myself. From around 1993 until the late 1990s, graffiti was my great passion. During this time, my enthusiasm for color, form, and creative expression developed—the foundation of my current painting.

In 2015 I found my path to abstract art. This opened up a completely new creative world for me, a world that continues to inspire me to this day. Since then, I have been passionately dedicated to abstract painting, continuously experimenting with new techniques, color combinations, and image structures.

I am especially fascinated by the unique shapes and textures created by the squeegee technique. Each painting is a new journey of discovery for me, where intuition, creativity, and a willingness to experiment come together. As a self-taught artist, I love continually developing myself and finding new ways to convey emotions and dynamism on the canvas.

Today I deliberately take more time for my art than ever before, and I look to the future with great enthusiasm. My goal is to create works that touch people, spark their imagination, and bring them lasting joy.

For me, the most beautiful thing about abstract art is its openness. Every viewer discovers something of their own, brings their personal thoughts, feelings, and experiences to a painting, and it thus resonates in a uniquely individual way. It is precisely this connection between artwork and viewer that makes abstract painting so special to me.
