Cyril Keller - Meeresbrise XXL

My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978, in the Saarland region.

My artistic journey began in the early 1990s when I discovered graffiti art for myself. From around 1993 until the end of the 1990s, graffiti was my great passion. During this time, my enthusiasm for colors, shapes, and creative expression—the foundation of my current painting—developed.

In 2015 I found my path into abstract art. A completely new creative world opened up for me, and I have been excited by it to this day. Since then I have devoted myself with great passion to abstract painting and continuously experiment with new techniques, color compositions, and image structures.

I am especially fascinated by the unique shapes and structures that arise from the scraper technique. Each painting is, for me, a new journey of discovery where intuition, creativity, and a willingness to experiment come together. As a self-taught artist, I love constantly developing and finding new ways to convey emotions and dynamics on the canvas.

Today I consciously take more time for my art than ever before and look to the future with enthusiasm. My goal is to create works that touch people, spark their imagination, and bring them lasting joy.

For me, the most beautiful thing about abstract art is its openness. Every viewer discovers something of their own, bringing their personal thoughts, feelings, and experiences into a painting, letting it affect them in a uniquely individual way. It is precisely this connection between artwork and viewer that makes abstract painting so special to me.
