Cyril Keller - So Excited XXL

My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in Saarland.

My artistic journey began in the early 1990s when I discovered graffiti art for myself. From about 1993 until the end of the 1990s, graffiti was my great passion. During this period, my enthusiasm for colors, shapes, and creative expression—the foundation of my current painting—developed.

In 2015 I found my path to abstract art. This opened up a completely new creative world for me that still inspires me today. Since then I have devoted myself to abstract painting with great passion, continually experimenting with new techniques, color compositions, and image structures.

I am especially fascinated by the unique forms and structures created by the squeegee technique. Each painting is, for me, a new journey of discovery where intuition, creativity, and a willingness to experiment come together. As a self-taught artist, I love to continuously develop and discover new ways to bring emotions and dynamism onto the canvas.

Today I consciously take more time for my art than ever before and look to the future with abundant enthusiasm. My goal is to create works that touch people, stimulate their imagination, and provide them with lasting joy.

For me, the most beautiful aspect of abstract art is its openness. Every viewer discovers something of their own, brings their personal thoughts, feelings, and experiences into a painting, and lets it work in a uniquely individual way. It is precisely this connection between the artwork and the viewer that makes abstract painting so special to me.
