Brown half-leather bindings - L’Illustration – 2 volumes - Year 1924 - Complete -
A famous weekly that marked the history of the French press.
Books in very good overall condition. The bindings show some signs of wear. Moisture marks visible at the bottom of volume I on the back.
The interior is very well preserved. There may be some moisture marks on a few pages but overall, reading is pleasant and the graphic representations are of very high quality.
The special issues are present (Salon, Automobile issue, Christmas issue) with their stiff cardstock covers... which is rare!!!
Abundantly illustrated including many color illustrations. Extraordinary historical and documentary value.
Many topics covered: Colony, Far East, China, Annam, Siam, the Third Republic, Automobiles, Art, Aviation...
