Elegant vintage 3-piece ceramic garniture by Boch, Belgium, from the well-known Vieux Rhodes series.
The set consists of:
1 large covered ginger jar / temple jar
2 matching trumpet-shaped vases
All three pieces are decorated with richly detailed polychrome floral, bird and ornamental motifs in deep cobalt blue, terracotta red, green and warm yellow tones on a cream ground. The decoration has a strong Asian-inspired character and the three pieces form a very decorative and impressive ensemble.
The undersides bear the characteristic “Vieux Rhodes – Boch – Belgium – Handworked” mark. Individual decorator / production numbers are also visible.
