Four Russian lacquered papier-mâché boxes, circa 1970–1980, in new condition and hand-painted in Kholuy and Palekh styles, with red interiors and dimensions about 9.5 cm by 9.5 cm by 2.5 cm for the cylindrical/round items (various shapes including circular, oval and cylindrical).

Refined lot consisting of 4 antique Russian lacquer boxes of various shapes (round, oval, and cylindrical), made of lacquered papier-mâché and finely hand-painted according to the tradition of the famous miniature schools of Kholuy and Palekh.
All pieces feature interiors lacquered in the typical bright red color and are well preserved. The lot includes antique paper certificates with factory stamps (Kholuy, dated 1984, title "Forest Tale / Lesnaya Skazka" and "Golden Hair / Zolotoy Volos"), Beriozka iconic foreigner store stamps with vintage prices in rubles, and the golden export mark "Made in USSR" under the base.

Subject: A fairy-tale female figure with extraordinarily long golden hair lying among stylized ornamental motifs.
Origin: Kholuy School, hand-painted with gold detailing.
Notes: Includes the original certificate with the work title.
Circular Box – "Knight with Falcon / Fairy Tale Hero":
Subject: A hero of Russian tradition (Bogatyr) on horseback with a falcon in flight, surrounded by a rich gilded geometric and floral border.
Oval Box – "Forest Tale" (Lesnaya Skazka, 1984):
Subject: A girl in traditional dress with a basket among the forest vegetation, accompanied by a white hare and a forest spirit.
