Wall clock – oak wood – Germany – 1940s
Mechanical - 8-day movement – strike on four gong rods

An oak regulator clock from the 1940s by the German manufacturer Junghans. The clock looks good and it works perfectly as well. Every hour and half hour the clock sounds, with a double strike on four gong rods, telling the time.
Wind the springs once a week and the clock is ready for the next period. The springs, as befits a quality clock, are housed in a barrel. The photos are part of the description.
A fine addition for the wall.

The clock is supplied with a winding key.

Een eikenhouten regulateur uit de jaren 40 van de vorige eeuw van de Duitse fabrikant Junghans.   De klok ziet er goed uit en hij doet het ook prima. Ieder uur en half uur laat de klok horen, door een dubbelslag op vier gongstaven, horen hoe laat het is.
Een keer in de week de veren opwinden en de klok is weer klaar voor de volgende periode. De veren zitten, zoals dat bij een kwaliteitsklok hoort, in een ton. De foto’s maken deel uit van de beschrijving.
Een aanwinst voor aan de muur.
 
De klok wordt geleverd met een opwindsleutel.
