About the artist:
Yamila Velázquez (Las Tunas, Cuba, 1993) is a contemporary artist who uses digital intelligence tools, currently living and working in the city of Alicante, Spain. Owner and partner of a company devoted to the sales, representation and development of artists and artworks, Velázquez merges her business vision with a deep artistic sensibility.

This young Cuban talent has established herself in the realm of digital art, using contemporary means to explore themes related to nature, landscape and the intimate relationship between woman and her surroundings. Her works address with subtlety and strong visual impact themes such as beauty, love, sensuality and feminine delicacy, always framed in enveloping, romantic and refined atmospheres.

With a vibrant and expressive aesthetic, Yamila Velázquez manages to fuse classic influences with a modern language, resulting in versatile, fresh and deeply evocative works. The painterly texture of her images, the masterful use of color, and the emotionally balanced composition position her work as a contemporary artistic proposition of high aesthetic value.

The work will be carefully packaged by a professional and shipped in a rigid cardboard tube, internally protected with bubble wrap to ensure its integrity during transport. Shipments are made through reliable courier companies such as UPS, FedEx or Correos España, depending on the destination and the most convenient option in each case.

This impressive digital diptych evokes the Delft-style blue-and-white porcelain aesthetic, infusing it with the Japanese philosophy of Kintsugi. Both figures, the Virgin Mary on the left and an angel on the right, are depicted with delicate fragmentation, their surfaces covered with intricate cracks filled with gold. The Virgin, her face raised in prayer and wrapped in a blue mantle with floral motifs, displays these golden scars as symbols of her humanity and divine resilience. The angel, holding white lilies and with wings outstretched, is likewise marked by these golden lines, highlighting the beauty that arises from breakage and repair. The rich textures, the radiant golds, and the detailed blue patterns create a work of art that celebrates imperfection, healing, and the beauty found in fragility accepted and restored with gold.
