• Why You’ll Love It
This is what happens when early-’90s CHANEL decides the regular CC simply isn’t big enough. The entire flap becomes the logo — a huge sculptural raised CC rendered in chocolate lambskin and finished with an oversized 24K gold-plated turn-lock. It is unapologetically vintage and absolutely incredible.

Then there is the chain. Thick, substantial and woven with matching brown leather, it has the weight and jewelry-like presence that makes vintage CHANEL hardware so desirable. Wear it doubled for a shorter shoulder carry or extend it to its full 24” drop when you want the bag to sit lower.

At 13.25” wide, this is a genuinely substantial vintage Maxi rather than a tiny collector piece you are afraid to use. Chocolate brown makes it even better — rich, sophisticated and considerably less common than black while still being incredibly easy to wear.

This early-1990s Maxi is exceptionally well preserved for its age. The chocolate lambskin retains beautiful richness, sheen and structure with strong definition throughout the quilted lower body. Corners and edges present extremely well, and the substantial 24K gold-plated hardware remains bright and visually striking with only light age-appropriate surface wear.

The burgundy-brown leather interior is exceptionally clean for a bag more than three decades old. The chain, oversized CC turn-lock and flap remain structurally sound and fully functional, and the original hologram sticker remains present and legible.
