Extremely rare original drawing signed and dated by the artist Eugène BLOT (1907), proposed cul-de-lampe for the illustration of a bibliophile/erotic book (Chapter VIII).
- Subject: Susanna and the Elders (classical female nude / biblical scene) in a highly elaborate Art Nouveau ornamental frame.
- Technique: Fine Chinese ink, highlights in white gouache on paper.
- Inscriptions: Signed and dated "E.BL. 07" within the motif, handwritten note at the bottom "Cul-de-lampe du Chapitre VIII.".
- Dimensions: 20.5 x 12 cm
- Condition: Very good vintage condition, paper well preserved.
