Description from the seller
Space Like This is part of my ongoing exploration of life, movement and the spaces that exist beyond what we can immediately recognize.
The work begins as an original painting created with acrylic colours directly on glass. On this smooth, non-absorbent surface, the paint behaves differently than on traditional canvas: it flows, collides, separates and forms structures that can only partly be controlled. I guide the process, but I also allow the material to find its own direction. The finished composition is then professionally photographed and transformed into a high-quality Fine Art Print, preserving the smallest details, transitions and organic formations of the original painting.
For me, Space Like This is not simply an image of something. It is a space in which something is happening. Forms appear almost biological, cosmic or microscopic, yet they never become completely identifiable. They seem to float between creation and dissolution.
This ambiguity is central to my work as a multidisciplinary artist. I am interested in the moment when control ends and life begins to create its own form. My work often deals with existence, boundaries, transformation and the question of how much of life we actually direct—and how much we simply encounter.
Space Like This invites the viewer to enter an unfamiliar world without needing to define it. Perhaps space is not emptiness at all, but a place filled with possibilities waiting to take form.
