There are images that seem to belong to our memories, even when we have never seen them. Two Dreamers Under the Stars is born exactly from this sensation: that of a vast, familiar, almost silent night, in which two characters from our childhood suddenly set sail.
Snoopy and Woodstock move forward alone on the water, settled in a small boat under a sky that immediately evokes Vincent van Gogh’s swirling Starry Night universe. The deep blues, the yellow halos, the monumental moon, and the movements of matter transform the landscape into a waking dream. In the face of this pictorial intensity, the two heroes remain deliberately simple, almost unfazed.
It is precisely this dissonance that SKE stages: the meeting between a major reference in art history and two icons of popular culture. The humor almost disappears in favor of a tenderness. Snoopy and Woodstock do not merely detract from the decor: they seem to be searching for their place within it, like two dreamers adrift between childhood and the collective imagination.
Two Dreamers Under the Stars thus plays on a double memory: that of cult images that one recognizes instantly and that, more intimate, of the characters with whom we grew up. A contemplative composition designed for the collector who loves when pop culture becomes emotion before becoming a collectible.
- FRAMING TIPS
Your artwork is shipped rolled and protected in a tube.
Upon receipt, remove it gently and lay it flat for 48 to 72 hours so it naturally regains its shape before framing.
ISO formats (A3, A2, A1…) are very easy to frame with standard frames available in DIY or decor stores.
Personally, I use Leroy Merlin aluminum frames: simple, elegant and affordable, they perfectly showcase the works.
- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught French artist and versatile creator who grew up in the culture of the 80s/90s, inspiring a large portion of his artistic work.
He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stencil, graffiti, urban installations and digital art. His dynamic and expressive compositions, often with dual meanings, merge the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE’s rating has risen notably. Winner of the first prize in the Urban Master contest (2023), then elected Newcomer of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October, and he also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.
His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States and Asia, consolidating his place on the contemporary art scene. In parallel, SKE has also made his mark in the digital art market, a major trend of the last two years, reinforcing the appeal of his creations to collectors.
Icons of popular culture, bold graphics and texture play characterize a now-inevitable style.
SKE is undeniably a artist to follow, to initiate or enrich a collection with rising value.
Ranked & Awarded Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work sits in a prestigious lineage. His lines reflect the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works bridge the eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to divert Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Young Girl, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or the deconstructed forms of Picasso to confront them with a modern urban aesthetic close to Mr Brainwash or Kaws.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing on the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons from our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic greed of Scrooge McDuck. The influence of gaming, comics and graphic novels is omnipresent: from the Nintendo universe and the legendary Game Boy, to Pokemon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), through Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits beside the logos of luxury and fashion giants. His canvases capture the "Hype" aesthetic: you encounter sneaker culture (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off White) and high fashion (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also includes automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not forgetting mass consumer icons like Coca-Cola. It is vibrant art with textured finishes reminiscent of the glossy finish of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski.
This work is ideal for enriching a collection or bringing a dynamic touch to your interior.
