Concorde - eagle - Road bicycle - Before 2000

Dear enthusiasts,

Hereby I offer a beautiful, race-ready chunk of Dutch-Italian cycling history. This Concorde Aquila race bike was hand-built in Italy in the late 1980s / early 1990s in the legendary Ciöcc (Giovanni Pelizzoli) workshop.
The frame is constructed from the stiff and indestructible Columbus SP (Cyclex) tubing set. This set was at the time specifically used for larger frames to guarantee maximum power transfer without the frame 'twisting'. The frame size is a perfect 58 (suitable for riders approximately 1.80 m to 1.87 m).
The Italian craftsmanship radiates from the frame. It features beautiful cast Cinelli lugs at the head tube, a matching Cinelli satin-chrome front fork (steel) and the iconic Concorde engraving in the bottom bracket area. The original Italian flag also stands proudly on the frame.

Condition & Restoration: The bike has just undergone a full restoration and mechanical overhaul. Everything works truly like new. The original paint and decals are in a beautiful, exceptionally well-preserved state with only minimal signs of age.

All brake and shift cables are renewed.

All bearings have been inspected and lubricated, no creaking / squeaking or seized components.
