About the artist:

Cédric Lascours, better known as Reso, is an iconic figure of French graffiti and one of the most renowned artists on the international street art scene. Born in 1975 in Toulouse (France), he lives and works today between Toulouse and Montauban, where he continues to develop his artistic practice.

Self-taught from urban culture, Reso has been immersed in graffiti since the 1990s, a period when he first explored public spaces, squats and derelict lots. Passionate about lettering and the movement of the stroke, he becomes a key figure of wildstyle: a complex and energetic writing where letters unfold in repeated rhythms, between abstraction and expressive calligraphy.

His work today evolves toward a living abstraction of the letter, where intertwined curves and lines capture movement, energy and gesture, creating dense, rhythmic and visually dynamic compositions. Reso does not limit himself to mural graffiti: he also extends his graphic research to canvas, mixed media, and installations, with particular attention to the harmony of shapes and the intensity of the gesture.

Reso is an engaged player in graffiti culture: he is regularly invited to participate in urban events in Europe, Latin America and the Middle East, not only as an artist but also as an organizer of events and gatherings around graffiti.
