Nicole Lubbers - Concrete Dreams XL

Nicole Lubbers is a Dutch visual artist from the eastern part of the country. She is known for her innovative and distinctive approach to art and works with a variety of techniques and materials. In her work, color, movement, expression and emotion play a central role. Themes such as resilience, strength, transformation and overcoming challenges regularly inspire her creations.

Her international career has developed strongly in recent years. Lubbers was named Artist of the Year 2024 at the Belgrade Biennale, received the Institutional Award of the Municipality of Montecosaro, and placed second at the World Art Awards as Most Innovative Artist 2024. She was also recognized among the 100 best female artists in the world and acknowledged as a Master in Art.

Internationally, her work has been shown and planned for exhibitions in locations including New York, Venice, Florence, Belgrade, Belgium, China and Montecosaro, in addition to exhibitions in Dutch galleries.

A notable highlight is Beyond the Surface, a solo exhibition on Times Square in New York. In addition, Nicole collaborates with artist Michael Lam to present the exhibition Harmony in Motion: Two Artists, One Vision. Two different artistic worlds come together here to form a shared dialogue around movement, color, creativity and transformation.

Mixed technique – digital artwork, hand-painted

This artwork is created using a mixed technique. The base is a digitally created painting printed on canvas and then hand-painted and finished by Nicole Lubbers. Digital art and traditional painting thus come together in a single artwork.

This specific piece contains no relief or sculptural elements. The strength lies in the composition, the colors, and the combination of the digital base with the hand-painted finish.

Delivery

The artwork is delivered unframed and without a strainer frame. You receive it as a rolled canvas. This allows you to decide how you want to present the work upon receipt. For example, you can have the canvas stretched by a framer onto a stretcher frame and, if desired, then framed.

In addition to her work as a visual artist, Nicole Lubbers is also known as a doll maker. The artwork is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
