About the artist:

Stelios Pupet (born 1983), known as Pupet, is a contemporary Greek visual artist who lives and works in Athens. A graduate of the Athens School of Fine Arts, he has established himself as an important figure on the national and international art scene through a practice that combines traditional techniques and digital processes.

Originating from urban culture and graffiti, Pupet gradually developed a personal plastic language where figuration occupies a central place. His work explores themes such as identity, memory and the perception of reality, inviting the viewer to reflect on the human condition and the contemporary world. Paintings, installations and urban interventions comprise a coherent body of work, marked by a distinctive aesthetic and a subtle use of color and structure.

For several years, the notion of grid has become a fundamental element of his creative process.
