To witness is to observe without being fully seen. The hand creates a boundary within vulnerability itself. There is power in this selective exposure, in the conscious choice to keep certain depths invisible.
Witness speaks of the balance between openness and mystery. It is an act of measured trust, of acceptance with boundaries. She falls, but she controls what remains secret.
